Frederick Nature Series with Fox Haven

Come explore some of the winged lifeforms that depend on clean creek water before they take flight!  Children will observe Benthic Macroinvertebrates that begin their life on the bottom of the creek bed up close in observation trays and head over to sit by the creek's edge to make their own observations about who they see creating habitat or seeking nourishment by the creek.  We will read a story about the lifecycle of the dragonfly.
