All classes will be designed to work with and introduce you to plants in season and growing in this region.

​Classes limited to 8-10 participants to allow for hands on and good communication.

Classes times are in afternoon earlier in the spring and shift to morning as the weather warms. Please bring a sun hat and water bottle.
We will visit the herb gardens and surrounding area for wild foraging but no strenuous hiking is involved. Class can be adapted to mobility needs (simply send us a heads up if you have questions)

Herbal Uprising!
April 25 ~ 1-3:30
Meet a new herbal ally and strenghten your relationship with the diversity of wild spring greens, exploring ways they can be infused into food, tea, massage oils and healing balms. Together we will prepare a violet massage oil for your own sweet self care and forage a wild pesto together.
Violet, chickweed, plantain, cleavers, yarrow, comfrey... make a few new friends!

Herbal Oxymels & Infusions
May 23 ~ 1-3:30
Let's get to know Nettle and Milky Oats with all the creative and nourishing possibilities these plants offer. We will meet them and then incorporate them into teas and vinegars, exploring creative ways to receive mineral rich and tasty herbal infusions. while also discussing the various ways to prepare herbs, and the qualities unique to our choice.
You'll take a nourishing herbal oxymel with local honey home with you.

Honey Harvest!
June 27 ~ 10-12:30
Come help harvest the honey. Immerse yourself in the hands on experience of separating wax cappings and comb, learn the whole process of how honey frames make it from the hive into the liquid gold that sweetens your tea and we will incorporate into our herbal syrups and oxymels in other classes. Also tune into how those wax cappings can be rendered into clean golden wax to melt into our healing balms in the July class! (This class will likely be at my home, away from the hives that are just over the river. If being too close the bees concerns you, no worries!)​

Calendula Oil, Balms & Butter
July 25 ~ 10-12:30
Brighten up your day with this beam of light and explore the deep cellular healing it brings. We will bring in a little rose too, to open our hearts and explore collective healing, inside and out.
You will get to make an herbal infused body butter and explore these two abundant gifts and how they lend themselves to heal us inside and out.

The Elders & Herbal Syrups
August 22 ~ 10-12:30
As the flowers begin to berry, we'll touch on so much wisdom in simple and yummy ways to strengthen and protect our immune systems as the summer begin to wane and the flowers are turning to fruit. You'll take home a bottle of elderberry & rosehip syrup made with local honey for immune support and try our some other herbal syrup recipes in class.

Fire Cider & Herbal Oxymels
October 24 ~ 1-3:30​​
Get ready for the turn of the seasons with an immune supporting and warming batch of fire cider with locally harvested herbs, roots and warming spices. We will use locally harvested ingredients and spend some time in collective community crafting as you prepare your own batch of fire cider to have on hand as winter nears.

Roots & Broth Blends
November 21 ~ 1-3:30
Meet the autumn root harvest and the many ways it can be incorporated into healing and immune supporting remedies through infusions into tinctures, cough syrups, teas and food.
We will prepare an herbal broth bag for you to take home.​​
